1. The Consultation:
Contact me by clicking on the black scheduling button below to secure a time for your on-site meeting with a professional home organizer. You will show the home organizer the space you wish to organize, declutter, and/or restyle, and then we discuss your usage of the area, what's working and what isn't, budget, aesthetics, and goals to get a thorough understanding of your needs. This assessment is complimentary, no fee. You can ask questions and see if we are a good fit to move forward.
2. Scheduling:
You can contact Ducks via my contact form or text/phone 815-271-2502 to schedule a date to begin your project. Working hours are from 9-5:30 T, W, Th, F, with Saturdays by request. Accommodations can be made to do evening work as needed for those who work out of the home.
3. Planning and Product Cost:
A $100 flat fee covers planning of your space and shopping for products to fit your needs, tastes, price point, and your space's specific dimensions. I will most likely bring more product than needed on project day, and will return any extra when the project is completed. Products purchased are subject to the client's approval. You will be billed for the cost of any supplies purchased, without any upcharge, when you are invoiced for the hourly labor costs. In the case of home styling services, any furniture purchases exceeding $200 will be made by the client. If you wish to purchase the supplies, please check first to make sure they will fit the style and space dimensions in the project plan.
4.Rates:
On the day I begin organizing your home, you will be charged $75/hour for one organizer. If the job requires additional organizers, such as a garage, attic, large space, or a rush job needing to be completed in a short time frame, you will be charged $140/hour for 2 organizers.
Supplies brought in by your home organizer are subject to the client's approval. You will be billed for the cost of any supplies purchased, without any upcharge, when you are invoiced for the hourly labor costs. You will be billed at the completion of the job, or at the end of each week if it is a multi-day project. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and may be made by credit card, cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal.
This rate includes a 15 minute lunch break for every 4 hours and 1 free donation drop off at the end of each session to either the charity of your choice in your city or to a Ducks preferred charitable partner such as Frisco Threads, Arms of Hope, or Recycle to Support.
The time it takes to complete a project depends on several factors:
-If I am working alone or with the client.
-Client's ability to make decisions while decluttering your house.
-Interruptions or any changes in design made by the client.
-Product availability.
5. Follow Up:
Ducks is committed to your space staying in tip top shape. Just contact me for a refresh visit if your space needs a reset, or I can set up a schedule to maintain your home's calm, organized feel.
If you are ever in need of relabeling your bins, baskets, or containers, contact Ducks, and I can either visit you in person or mail replacement labels free of charge.
Don't forget, for any new home organization services or any styling, decluttering, or decorating projects, the consultation fee is waived!
